You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. (NIV) Every Christian is God's special possession. He owns you legally. The Holy Spirit lives you not just for residing sake but that you are His property. You were bought at a price. And God expect you to glorify Him with your body.  The church is a purchased people. Jesus bought us with His own blood. The church has a price value -- the blood of Jesus. 1 Peter 1:18-19 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. But we did not use this right. On the contrary, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ. (NIV) Apostle Paul writing to the church in Corinth said he had right of support from the church having sowed spiritual seed he was entitled to material harvest. 1 Corinthians 9:11 If we have sown spiritual seed among you, is it too much if we reap a material harvest from you? Material harvest was his right but he did not use the right in order not to hinder the Gospel of Christ. (NIV) You would find some Christians who are shining and doing well in their lives and any endeavour they get involved. Even where others struggled they succeeded. It is because they committed their ways to the Lord and trust in Him.  There is a reward in committing one's way to the Lord and trusting in Him; your righteous reward will shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun. This means, this person's life will be as bright as the dawn and there won't be uncertainty in his life but clarity and illumination like the noon day sun.  You don't have to struggle to shine in life. You don't have to struggle to have a fulfilled life. Just commit your ways to the Lord and trust in Him, He will

Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky (NIV) If you find yourself in a society that is full of evil and wickedness instead of complaining or grumbling against them shine among them. That's what the Bible says to do. The Bible recognizes that you live in a generation that is "warped and crooked." That is, it is full of moral decadence, spiritual deficiency and Godlessness. Yet it says "shine among them" like stars in the sky. He didn't say hide from them or kill them. But shine.  A dark, crooked and warped society is an opportunity for light. And you are that light.  You can do everything without grumbling, and be blameless and pure child of God without fault in this ungodl

(NIV) Every Christian is the righteous, and the righteous does have troubles, even many troubles but the Lord delivers them from all their troubles.  Your Christian life is not awkward because you have troubles, it is only awkward if you are defeated by your troubles. Troubles or challenges are part of the Christian journey. But defeat is not. It is not the many troubles you have that define your Christianity but the many victories over those troubles. Trouble comes without invitation, victory comes only by invitation. Some people look at themselves in the light of their troubles and wonder if they are true Christians or on the right path, supposing that being a Christian they shouldn't have troubles but there are many troubles on the Christian path as is many victories.
