YOU MAY HAVE MANY TROUBLES

Psalms 34:17 The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. (NIV)

Every Christian is the righteous, and the righteous does have troubles, even many troubles but the Lord delivers them from all their troubles. 

Your Christian life is not awkward because you have troubles, it is only awkward if you are defeated by your troubles. Troubles or challenges are part of the Christian journey. But defeat is not. It is not the many troubles you have that define your Christianity but the many victories over those troubles. Trouble comes without invitation, victory comes only by invitation.

Some people look at themselves in the light of their troubles and wonder if they are true Christians or on the right path, supposing that being a Christian they shouldn't have troubles but there are many troubles on the Christian path as is many victories. Victories comes from troubles.

The righteous person is not exempted from troubles.
Psalms 34:19 The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;

What makes the difference is that the Lord delivers him from them all. Someone might say "since I became a Christian it has been from one trouble to another, I don't know why." What he doesn't know is that those troubles could have turned out to be from one victory to another if he had fixed his eyes on the Lord who delivers the righteous from all his troubles. 

Fix your eyes on God and His Word, it doesn't matter how many troubles you have, He will deliver you from them all. 

PRAYER

Lord God you are my deliverer. I may be surrounded by many troubles but I know that you will deliver me from them all. I refuse to hold on to my troubles but yield them all to you my deliverer, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord.
