BROUGHT OUT AND BROUGHT IN

Colossians 1:13 who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love; (NIV)

Though the physical world is one there are two spiritual Kingdoms in operation. The Kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of light. Everyone belongs in either spiritually. 

Those who are not born again are in the Kingdom of darkness and under its power, dominion and jurisdiction. There lives are being controlled by the devil and his cohorts. But the born agains have been delivered out of the power and dominion of darkness, and are translated into the Kingdom of light. 

Don't live in fear of the devil and his works. You are not under his control or dominion. Not only that he doesn't have right over your life he doesn't have power (ability) over your life either. He is not in charge of your life and circumstances; he doesn't dictate the pace of your life, what happens or what not, what you get or don't get. He is not. 

There are many who live as though satan is in charge of their lives and the outcome of it. When something bad happens they are quick to blame him for it. Satan is the author of evil but he doesn't have the right to practise it everywhere he wants. 

Our theme scripture implies clearly that we have been brought out of the dominion of darkness and brought into the Kingdom of the Son of His love. We are in the Kingdom of light right now. Let this dominate your mind. You are in the Kingdom of God where satan have no access. 

Don't live as though you are at the mercy of satan. Don't live with fear that he might destroy what belongs to you or thwart your plans. The only time he could have access is when you grant him through your words and actions; don't talk fear, don't talk negative. Keep him out of your life through speaking and living in the Truth -- God's Word is truth.

CONFESSION

I have been delivered out of the influence, works and dominion of darkness, and have been transferred into the Kingdom of God's love Son, Jesus Christ. This is where I am now far above darkness, devils and their works, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. (NIV) We should not have offense we cannot forgive. But at times we find ourselves in a situation where forgiveness seems difficult. If we apply our emotions and how hurt we are, it will be difficult to forgive. But how much of them we enjoy depends on our knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. Knowledge here refers to intimate knowledge which comes through relationship.
