YOU ARE THE SEED OF ABRAHAM


Galatians 3:16,29 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," meaning one person, who is Christ. ...If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.(NIV)


We are not Abraham's seeds but Abraham's seed. Abraham has one spiritual seed and that seed is Christ. If you are in Christ you are the seed of Abraham. All the blessings and promises God gave to Abraham are actually fulfilled in you. The promise of blessing God made to Abraham was of two sides; physical and spiritual. 


Genesis 13:15 For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever. 

Abraham and his physical seed did enjoy the physical side of the blessing. But the spiritual side was reserved for the spiritual seed; those in Christ. The spiritual side of the blessing was the Holy Spirit. 

Galatians 3:14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit.

Having received the spiritual side of it we have also received the physical side of it; material blessings. 


Abraham was very wealthy; we have that seed in us too. Wealth is greater than riches. With riches you sustain your extended family. With wealth you sustain your nation.

Abraham sustained nations and even his generation and you are his seed.

Genesis 24:34-35 So he said, "I am Abraham’s servant. The LORD has blessed my master abundantly, and he has become wealthy. He has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys.


In Christ you are the seed of Abraham. All God's promises to Abraham are fulfilled unto you, rise and walk in them.


CONFESSION


I am the seed of Abraham; God's blessings to Abraham has come to me. I am blessed spiritually, physically and in material. I am heir of blessings, Grace and favour. Wealth is bequeathed unto me and all things mine in Christ. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not covet," and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
