DON'T OBSERVE THE CONTRARIES
Ecclesiastes 11:4 Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.(NIV)
When you set out your plans and goals to achieve success contraries would set in. There is always that opposition coming from somewhere. There is always that wind blowing against one's plan and direction; it's from the devil. Some wish that there were no oppositions on their path they would have done much by now. "Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap" - the Bible says.
It's not about the wind, the clouds, the oppositions and the contraries. It's about your focus. Those things are destined to come but don't observe them. If not from anything else at least from your own experience you can tell that trouble, contraries and oppositions are part of the walk. It is how you deal with them that makes the ultimate difference.
If you observe the things that are not working in your life you won't be able to make progress. You want to plant but there is this wind against you. You set out your business plan but the economy downtrend looks horrible to start-up a business. In this world if you look for excuse not to move forward with your plan and dreams you would find many.
There will always be justifiable excuses but don't buy them. Don't justify yourself for being stagnant or failing because of the opposition factors you deemed insurmountable. There are no insurmountable oppositions. When a wind blows strong and tempest it goes out after a while. It's better not to observe the wind. You might have seemingly justifiable excuses not to make that move, not to start that project, not to take that step. But hear me, you can do it, you can! Only don't observe the contraries.
CONFESSION
The Spirit of God has taught and filled me with Wisdom. I keep my focus on the Word and the Spirit. I refuse to observe the contrary wind of life. I make move in the direction of my dreams, plans and goals, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
