ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH


Matthew 9:29 Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith let it be done to you"; (NIV)


Two blind men came to Jesus pleading with Him to restore their sight. They wanted to have their sight back. Their desire was all right. But they did not examine their faith. Jesus turned their attention to faith. Because that was what they required; healing and blessing requires more than desire -- faith is required.


Matthew 9:27-30 As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!" When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?" "Yes, Lord," they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith let it be done to you"; and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, "See that no one knows about this."


Just because someone is crying out to God doesn't mean He has faith. Just because someone pray a very nice prayer doesn't mean He believes that God is able to do it. Some people pray out of frustration but what is required is faith. Pray out of faith! Jesus asked them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?"


Whatever you desire can only be done unto you according to your faith. If it is not getting done, maybe you should examine your faith. Maybe you should ask yourself if you really believe that God is able to do it. And then tell yourself that He can. And say to yourself again and again. "God is able to do it." 


When you pray to God or want to get something done always examine your faith. Because above whatever else that might be required your faith is the defining factor. It shall be done unto you according to your faith. 

Put your faith to work; meditate on the Word very often and speak forth accordingly.


PRAYER


Thank You Father for having dealt to me the measure of faith. As I study, meditate and act on the Word I grow my faith strong. Through my faith I walk in your perfect will, fulfill my destiny in Christ, lay hold of eternal life, have my desires granted and my dreams fulfilled, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
