FROM CHRIST POINT OF VIEW
2 Corinthians 5:16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. (NIV)
In this above verse Apostle Paul was not referring to the people of the world when he said "So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view." No! He was referring to Christians. Some of the Christians at the time still regarded themselves from a worldly point of view, that is, mere earthly beings. Apostle Paul said, no! We are more than earthly beings.
Then he went on to say "Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer." Even though Jesus performed many miracles most of the people of His day especially the religious leaders saw Him as just another man. But Jesus was more than a man. Later on, beginning with the disciples and many others believed that Jesus Christ was God Almighty in a human body. Apostle Paul said "So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view."
Everyone of us should apply this in our view of fellow Christians.
God sees everyone of us in Christ as Christ. He sees us from Christ point of view. And we ought to see ourselves same way. Stop magnifying the short comings or wrongs of your fellow Christian. See others in Christ and tell them their glory and grace in Christ that they should walk in.
If someone held a light in his hand but not turned on instead of complaining about the darkness around him show him how to turn on his light. That's the answer. You should be able to see the light of others in Christ and help them turn it on. See people's potentials, glory, grace and beauty, and help them walk in it. See from Christ point of view.
When you begin to see others the way they are in Christ and inspire them through the word to walk in it Christ will be made manifest all the more in your own life.
CONFESSION
I see others from Christ point of view. I refuse to categorize people by worldly standard, I see my fellow Christians as they truly are in Christ and relates with them in that light; encouraging, motivating and inspiring them to live as Christ. Amen.
