A NEW KIND OF MAN

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (NIV)

It's important to understand that the Christian is not an extension of the first Adam. He really has no connection with him. The Christian began after the first man had been Judged and executed. They didn't even cross paths. 

The Bible tells us there is the first Adam and the last or second Adam. 
1 Corinthians 15:45-48 So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual. The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven.

Jesus is the second and last Adam. He is the heavenly man and we are exactly like Him. We are in the order of the second Adam; we are a life-giving spirit. We are a new kind of man. The Bible says "...The old has gone, the new is here!" 2 Corinthians 5:17. 

How exactly is this new kind of man? The Bible says in Ephesians 4:24 "and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness."

This new kind of man is like God in true rightousness and holiness. He is a God-carrying being. Like Christ inside us dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily - Colossians 2:9-10.

As a Christian this is your reality. You are a new kind of man that never existed before. You are a new species; a God-carrying man. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

I am a new kind of man created in Christ Jesus to be like God in true rightousness and holiness. I am in the order of Jesus the last Adam and as He is so am I in this world. Consequently I live and function like Him. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
