A WALK WITH GOD

Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God; and he was not, for God took him [home with Him]. [AMP]

The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death:...
Enoch walked with God and did not experience death. God took him to heaven. It was a walk not a run with God. It's not as though Enoch walked the street with God, no! It was a daily walk (fellowship) with God. It was a habitual fellowship. And he did that consistently for three hundred years. No wonder God took him home with Him. He couldn't have let him experience death after a three hundred years walk with Him.

We can walk the walk too. It is a daily fellowship with God. It is a walk not a run. It's a walk of process. It's a walk of experiencing God in diverse ways. It is an experiential walk empowered by revelation of His Word. It is a daily walk in the Word. Enoch walked with God by Faith. Faith is acting on the Word of God.

Our walk by faith is the walk with God. The more consistent we are in the walk the stronger we become. In the walk God is interested in what we become. Enoch walked with God and walked out of this world. We too can. You can be in the world but not living in the world. Though in the world but not of the world. 

You can walk with God. It's simple! It's a daily step of fellowship with Him. Each day is a step higher, and on and on until God takes us home with Him. Praise God!

PRAYER

Dear Holy Spirit, I thank you for the walk so far. I trust you for the rest of the walk. I declare that I am strong and courageous, I'm consistent in the walk. As you lead I keep in step with you until you take me home. Hallelujah!

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord.
