TRUE FELLOWSHIP WITH ONE ANOTHER

1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. (NIV)

We are not only called into fellowship with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ - 1 John 1:3, but also with our fellow brethren. Our true fellowship with one another in the body of Christ is dependent on our walk in the light. 

If we walk in the light as God is in the light, then, only then shall we be positioned rightly -- spiritually and mentally to have true fellowship with one another. 
What does God's light mean? It means God's truth, God's reality; as things are before God. How He sees things and what they are to Him. If we live in God's reality, in other words as things are before Him, then we all can have true fellowship without argument of words, rules and traditions. 

How is riches before God? What does He say about our health? How does He sees sin, righteousness and judgment? Let us talk about righteousness. Having made Jesus to be a sin offering for us all He no longer sees us as sinners. In fact, it would be injustice if He sees us as sinners. Because Jesus legally took our place and died our death. And we have taken His place of righteousness legally. This is how God sees our righteousness. God sees us in the light of Christ. 

Our theme scripture literally says "if we see ourselves and all that concerns us in the light with which God sees us in Christ then we would have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus will purify us from all sin." 
Fellowship is primarily in words. If we see and communicate in the light of our reality in Christ we would be having true fellowship. We would think, talk and act in the same direction. One wouldn't say he is better than the other, nor would we call ourselves sinners. We would talk in the light of Christ. True communication is in speaking the same language, and Christ is our language. 

When we fellowship like this the blood of Jesus purifes us from all sin.

CONFESSION

I walk in the light as God is in the light; I think, talk and live in God's reality. I have fellowship with the brethren and the blood of Jesus purifes me from all sin. Amen.

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
