UNSEEN ADVANTAGE

Mark 16:20 Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it. (NIV)

As the disciples went out to preach the Gospel miracles, signs and wonders happened. The lame walked, the blind saw, the deaf heard and many were healed from various diseases. The people did not see the power behind it. But the disciples knew they had unseen advantage.

They knew it was by the Name of Jesus. He worked with them and back their preaching with signs. Acts 4:10 then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.

Through the Holy Spirit the Lord Jesus was with them. He gave power and authority to their words. He confirmed their words with miracles and signs but He was unseen, and He was their advantage. 

It did not take long the people could read meaning into the boldness of the disciples, the manner of miracles and liken them to what only Jesus could do. They knew Jesus was their advantage. 
Acts 4:13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

You see, we are not alone in what the Master called us to do. He is in us and with us. We may not see Him with our optical eyes but He is our unseen advantage. We need to walk conscious of this, we are not alone. He is with us and ready to proof the His message that we bear and preach. This should inspire you to preach all the more knowing fully well that you have an unseen advantage.

PRAYER

Precious Lord Jesus I thank You for the privilege and blessings of preaching your Gospel. Thank You for working with me and confirming the Word with miracles, signs and wonders following. Amen.

Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
