BECAUSE HE CARES FOR YOU


1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (NIV)


If we would hold onto our troubles and cares then we will certainly wear ourselves out. If we weigh our troubles on our strength our inabilities will be exposed. Anxiety and worries won't change what we worry about. But God offers to bear them.


The Word implore us to cast our anxiety on God because He cares for us, not just because it's heavy but because there is someone who cares to take them from us.


The Psalmist said the same thing in Psalms 55:22, Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.


God sustains. That is, He nourishes. He cares, supplies and nourishes your life. And He does that more than you could ever do. Instead of getting worked up why not cast it upon Him?


I love the way Amplified translation enlightened the above quoted verses. 1 Peter 5:7 Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. 

Psalms 55:22 Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail).


God cares about you personally and affectionately. Cast the whole of your care; all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all on Him, releasing the weight of it and He will sustain you. He will never let you be shaken, slip, fall or fail.


CONFESSION


I confess that God cares for me. Therefore I cast all my anxieties, worries and concerns on Him, releasing the weight of it and He will sustain me and will not let me be shaken because He cares for me. Hallelujah!

Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
