RECEIVE MERCY

Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (NIV)

God's mercy means compassion, kindness and justification shown to man.
Compassion means God is tenderhearted toward man and seek ways to help him. 
Kindness means God's help and care towards man. 
Justification means He acquit and absorb man of his wrongs and its consequences. 

When a man finds himself in a trouble what he needs is God's mercy. When he receive mercy he receives compassion, kindness and justification. And when these three speaks for man he receives whatever he needs.
If you are in a time of need the first thing you require is not your need being met but mercy.

An important aspect of mercy is that it doesn't require effort or qualification. You don't have to qualify for mercy.
Romans 9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

It is mercy that makes the difference in a man's life. But one has to receive it first. Even though God's mercy is readily available it is not readily effective in every man's life. By this, I mean there is a level of mercy you cannot experience until you consciously ask for it.

Our theme scripture, Hebrews 4:16 says "Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."

God's throne of grace is in your heart. Anywhere God is enthroned, exalted and glorified is His throne of grace. If you have enthroned, exalted and glorified Him in your heart, then He is seated there. Ask and receive His mercy and find the kind of grace you require in your time of need. 

CONFESSION

Dear Lord Jesus I enthrone, exalt and glorify you in my heart as my Lord and God. I receive your mercy and grace today, shown me mercy and grace today to help me in my time of need. Amen.

Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
