THE BLESSER AND THE BLESSING

Ephesians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. (NIV)

This above scripture says God has blessed us, that means God is our blesser. But there is more in this scripture, reading intently you will discover He is not only the blesser but also the blessing. The Word declares that we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in Christ. But what exactly is in Christ?

The truth is, the only thing in Christ is the fullness of the Godhead from which every other comes.
Colossians 2:9 For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature]. 

The Godhead is not only in Christ but also in us. This is the true blessing -- the real deal. We are filled with the Godhead - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 
Colossians 2:10 And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead–Father, Son and Holy Spirit–and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].

In Christ we are blessed with every spiritual blessing because the Godhead dwells in us. We are blessed with health, peace, prosperity, favour, power etc only because all of God dwells in us. Our highest and true blessing is the fullness of God, from this all others springs. He is not only our blesser but also our blessing.

When you understand this your prayer point would change. If you see God as your blesser and blessing you won't have to try to force Him to bless you knowing that He has willingly made Himself your inheritance.
Psalms 16:5 Lord, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine. (NLT).

CONFESSION

God has not only blessed me with every spiritual blessing in Christ but has also been that blessing. He is not only my blessser but also my blessing. I'm blessed and filled with the fullness of God. Lord, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine. Amen.

Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
