BUILD YOUR LIFE ON THE ROCK

Luke 6:47-48 As for everyone who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice, I will show you what they are like. They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. (NIV)

There is a way to live life and not fall or fail beyond recovering. Jesus said it is by hearing and putting His word into practice.

Your life is like a building under construction. How well and solid your building turns out depends on the material you use. When a heavy flood comes to a locality it goes against every house in that locality, some of the houses would fall, others would remain standing. It's the same flood but the difference was in how well each house was built and the material used. You can't blame the flood it came against all the houses; the flood was fair.

Don't blame the storms of life. It is not against only you. If you build your life on the Rock; Christ and His word you won't care about the storm. After the storm your life would still be standing. Stop the blame, build your life on the word of God by hearing and putting it into practice as Jesus said.

PRAYER

Dear Lord Jesus, I give my heart and attention to your word, to be built and established strong and solid, unmovable in times of storm. Amen Hallelujah!

(NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
