OFFER A SACRIFICE OF PRAISE

Hebrews 13:15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise —the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. (NIV)

One peculiarity with the old testament mode of worship was sacrifice. They would kill and offer animals for sacrifices at worship service on the sanctuary. They did this endlessly until Jesus came. When He came He said God doesn't desire such sacrifices. So He offered Himself to God as the ultimate sacrifice. Hebrews 10:5,12 Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: "Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,

He offered Himself for our sins once and for all. So we don't need to offer animal sacrifices today. Rather our sacrifice is through Jesus Christ, a sacrifice of praise; the fruit of the lips that openly profess His Name and deeds. Hebrews 13:15 Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise —the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.

Our lips should be filled with songs of praise to God always through the Person and deeds of the Lord Jesus Christ. 
Psalms 34:1 I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.

Let His praise always be on your lips; proclaiming His deeds. Accompany your praises with giving thanks.
Ephesians 5:20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Your thanks and praises to God in the Name of Jesus are sanctified through Him and are set before God as sacrifice as you make confession of His Name. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

Through Jesus Christ I offer to God continually sacrifice of praise; the fruit of my lips, giving thanks and praise to His Name for His goodness, grace and mercy. I will extol the Lord at all times, His praise will always be on my lips. Amen Hallelujah!

Chapter 2 Episode 2 LOVE FULFILS THE LAW Romans 13:8-10 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.
