HE WORKS IN YOU

Philippians 2:13 [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight. (AMP)

God does not intend for you to live life on your own strength. The Christian life is lived in the strength of God. For example, the things that we are required to do as Christians are not humanly possible. Let's look at Matthew 10:7-8, it says "As you go, proclaim this message: ’The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give."

We can't proclaim the Kingdom, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leprous and drive out demons on our own strength. It has to be God working in and through us. And that's exactly what our theme scripture says. Philippians 2:13 [Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.

We get born out when we try to do it on our strength. What the Lord asked you to do is not going to be on your strength. All through the Bible all the people God used relied upon His strength. 

Another thing to take note of is the desire. If you find in you a desire to do good or propagate the Kingdom it is from the Lord. Don't try to run with the desire without the Lord. Let Him work through you. 

It's also important that you learn to acknowledge Him for all He has done with you and through you so far. It is Him who all the while has been at work in you both to will and to do, whether or not you noticed it. He works in you, so no need to fret or struggle, only work out what He works in you. 

CONFESSION

Precious Father I am not living life in my own strength, no! For it is You who all the while has been effectually at work in me; energizing and creating in me the power and desire, both to will and to work for Your good pleasure and satisfaction and delight as it is today. Amen!
