THE ROCK HIGHER THAN I 

Psalms 61:2 From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. (NIV)

The Rock higher than I is Christ. He is the Rock of salvation, to whom anyone could run to and be saved. If you are faced with problems and circumstances that you cannot handle what you need is the Rock higher than you. Life's problems and challenges calls for spirituality. When problem knocks you need something higher than the natural. And there is one answer, Christ the Rock. 

1 Corinthians 10:4 and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.
This verse tells us that the Rock from which the Israelites drank water in the wilderness was Christ -- Exodus 17:6. That water saved their lives; that water is salvation. From Christ - the Rock comes salvation from sin, death and darkness.

Anyone who thirst or dying can drink from this water and live. And everyone should look to this Rock that is higher than all. Today we don't need to go to a mountain to strike or talk to a rock, Christ the Rock is within us. All you need is to look within you and bring forth living water from the Rock inside you.

John 7:37-39 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

The Lord Jesus has since been glorified and the Spirit has since been given to everyone who believes. The Holy Spirit in you gushes out living water. The Rock higher than you is within you: bring forth blessings, abundance and living water from within you. No mountain is higher than you now, no trouble is bigger than you now, because Christ the Rock higher than all is in you.

CONFESSION

I am before the Rock that is higher than I, and the Rock is Christ. Christ within me is the fountain, solution and rivers of living water within me. I bring forth answers, solution, healing and blessings today, taking advantage of the Rock within me that is higher than I. Amen!
