WE ARE NOW

1 John 3:2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. (NIV)

The Bible declares that now we are children of God. We are now! We are children of the Most High God. What exactly does it mean to be a son of God? Son of God means three things.

First, God in a human body or flesh. God lived in the fleshly body of Jesus. 
John 14:10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 
And God lives in anyone who acknowledge that Jesus is the Son of God. 
1 John 4:15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.
You are son of God, God lives in your physical body. 

The second meaning of the Son of God is temple. The Son of God is the temple of God; a place where God is exalted, honored, glorified and worshipped. Jesus in His days on earth was God's temple. John 2:19,21, Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days." But the temple he had spoken of was his body.

Everyone who has received the Spirit of God is the temple of God just like Jesus was. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Thirdly, the Son of God means the image or representation of God. 
Colossians 1:15 who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
Hebrews 1:3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Everyone who is in Christ, like Christ, is God's image and representation.

You are son of God now not when you get to heaven. Right here and now you are God in flesh, you are the temple of God, you are the image and representation of God. You are God personified; you are Godman. 

Son of God is the embodiment and representation of God, assume your place and function thus. 
The Bible declares now are we the children of God; the body, temple and image of God. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I am God's body, temple and image. Now, here and now I am God's representation, all of God dwells in and through me. I give full expression to the fullness of God in me. The Father lives in me and does His work through me. Amen Hallelujah!
