GOD IS YOUR SOURCE

Psalms 121:1-2 I lift up my eyes to the mountains — where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. (NIV)

God is your source because He owns you. He created you for His own purpose, and has made adequate preparation for you. He planned where you would live, what you would do, what you would have and how you would live. 

He is the source of your life and the source of all that you will ever require in life. But not many people see it this way. They always try to force God to do something for them or be responsible for them. God is already responsible for you, you don't have to force Him or remind Him. Only acknowledge that He is your source and find out how to live in His provision. 

The Psalmist acknowledged where His help came from. And everyone of us should. He said in Psalms 121:2 "My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth."

The help you will require this year will come only from the Lord who made the heavens and the earth. Understanding that you will always need the help of God is paramount. Some people never consciously acknowledge this. They think as long as they have this and that they don't really need God to do anything for them. They believe their influence and riches can sort them out all the time. Not even realising that their influence and riches came from God. 

God is your source, and not only the source of your life but everything your life requires. He may use channels; angels, men, circumstances and events but He alone remain the source. Often, some tend to reverence the channels as their source because they don't see the source but the channels. 

You may not see God your source but He is the One responsible for the supplies through those channels of Angels, men, circumstances and events. Acknowledge the source.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

However He supplies is His choice. When you acknowledge Him as your source He supplies more. Interestingly channels could spoil or stop flowing but source never stops. Channel could be changed but no one changes God the source. 

God may change the channels He used in supplying you, when that happens it doesn't mean something has gone wrong. He just doesn't want you to put your trust in the channels but on Him the source. So set your eyes on God your source.

CONFESSION

I acknowledge that God is my source. My help comes from the Lord who made the heavens and the earth. He may use any channel to supply my needs at a time but He remains the source of my provision and all. So I fix my eyes on God the source of my life. Amen Hallelujah!
