WE ARE GOING TO THE OTHER SIDE

Matthew 8:18,23-24 When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake. Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. (NIV)

When we come into a new year it's like going to the other side, going over to new things and we make resolutions, we set new goals and objectives. But most often we meet crisis or opposition factors. 

Jesus told His disciples that they were going to the other side of the lake but they were met with a great opposition; a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. He knew they would get to the other side.

When the storm was too much His disciples went and woke Him up.
Matthew 8:25-26 The disciples went and woke him, saying, "Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!" He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

When the trouble of storm came to them they were afraid that they were going to drown but they forgot that Jesus had said "let us cross over to the other side." Nothing was going to stop them from getting to the other side. 
What are your set goals and plans for the year? What other side are you crossing over to? Can the storm of life stop you? Would you get afraid like the disciples or be bold like Jesus and command the storm and waves to stop? My brother we going over to the other side of prosperity, success, victory, wealth and ministry, and nothing in all existence is going to stop us. This should be your confession and mindset.

It's not the opposition that is the problem but your reaction and action towards it. If God said you were going to be this or that, have this or that, it doesn't mean there won't be opposition to it. What He has said becomes your right and legal ground to claim or be what He said. Jesus said they were crossing to other side yet there was an opposition to stop them. 

You will face opposition to actualizing your resolution but remain resolute and adamant that you are crossing over to the over side of prosperity, success, victory, wealth and happiness. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

Thank You Lord for your Word today, I receive it in faith. I declare that nothing is going to stop me from crossing to the other side of things. There are better things in the other side and I am crossing over. I am crossing over to the other side of my inheritance, prosperity, success, victory, wealth, marriage and happiness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
