SEE BEYOND THIS WORLD

Hebrews 11:26-27 He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. (NIV)

This above scripture refers to Moses who regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than all the treasures of Egypt. He was not afraid of Pharaoh's anger. And the Bible tells us why; because he saw Him who is invisible. He was looking forward to his reward. He saw beyond this world. And we all need to.

We will struggle and fall in times of trials and persecution if we don't see beyond this world. Look forward to the things to come; the true, lasting and great things that are in the world to come. Through the Word you can see the world and the things to come (the invisible). In the light of which the things of this world holds little meaning to you. You see them in their real state; temporary and fading.

It makes a lot of difference when we see beyond the happenings, miracles and experiences to seeing God in them. Moses saw a bush burning and saw God in the burning bush. See God in the happenings; see beyond.
Exodus 3:2-3 There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, "I will go over and see this strange sight —why the bush does not burn up."

Did you know that God didn't talk about the burning bush with Moses? He went straight to the reason He caused to the bush to burn. It was so that He could get Moses attention to listen to Him. Look beyond the strange happenings or circumstances to give attention to God and hear what He might say to you.

Enjoying a relationship with God and enjoying the blessings of that relationship and even the blessings of Christ takes seeing beyond what you are seeing. Deliberately see beyond this world, there is so much you are yet to see.

CONFESSION

I refuse to be caught-up with the circumstances of life. I refuse to be held bound to situation, trials or persecution that may come my way. I see beyond the physical to see the invisible. I see God and His works in my life, and I see the world from God's standpoint; seeing victory, success, testimonies, peace and prosperity, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
