CHRIST; THE NEW CREATION

Colossians 3:10-11 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. (NIV)

This above scripture clearly implies that the new self (new creation) is neither Gentile nor Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, slave or free but Christ; Christ is all and in all. This means that Christ is all that is in the new creation; the only content of the new creation is Christ. Christ in you makes you a new creation. 

The first line of our opening verse says "and have put on the new self...." 
In the book of Galatians Paul tells us "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ..." Putting on the new self (new creation) and putting on Christ is the same thing. That means Christ is the new creation. And Jesus and His body, the church is Christ.
Galatians 3:27-28 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

We are all one in and with Christ Jesus, for we have all been baptized, immersed completely into Christ; swallowed up completely in Him. We bear His identity, personality, Person and Name. 

We are joined, united with Him as one individual spirit being. And this spirit being is the new creation.
1 Corinthians 6:17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.

We are forever one with Him in spirit. He is the head we are His body, we are a Person; an individual with Him. Hallelujah!

CONFESSION

I have put on the new creation which is being renewed in knowledge after the Creator. I have been baptized into Christ; immersed completely into Him, I am clothed with Christ as a garment, I am joined to the Lord, I and Jesus is the new creation. I live in the light of this truth today and always, fulfilling my reason for being, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
