CALLED INTO ONENESS

1 Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (NIV)

The primary purpose for which the Lord Jesus gave us His life is to make us one with Him and by Him one with the Father. The Lord Jesus prayed to the Father that we may be one with Him and the Father. John 17:22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one —

Our opening scripture says that the Father called us into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ. The word "fellowship" there does not mean communication but partnership or oneness. What God the Father actually called us into is oneness with His Son and by His Son with Himself. We are called into oneness with the Almighty God. Think about that for a moment! That is the reason we are joined or united with the Lord Jesus so that in Him we might be united with the Father in an inseparable oneness.
1 Corinthians 6:17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.

You are one with the Lord Jesus in spirit. This means in the spirit realm your spirit and that of Jesus is joined as an individual spirit being. You are actually one with the Lord. And this defines your identity, inheritance and place with the Father. The Father sees and relates with you in the light of your oneness with Jesus. Have this truth in your consciousness and live it. 

CONFESSION

God is faithful who has called me into oneness with His Son Jesus Christ. As the Father lives in the Son and the Son in the Father even so I in Him and He in me. I am united with the Lord, I am one with Him in spirit; I am in an inseparable oneness with the Lord Jesus to the glory of God the Father. Amen!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
