ENRICHED IN EVERY WAY

1 Corinthians 1:4-5 I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way —with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge — (NIV)

The Apostle Paul writing to the Corinthians church said that grace has been given them in Christ Jesus and that in Him they have been enriched in every way. And the first things He mentioned in respect to the riches is all kinds of speech and all knowledge. That means knowledge and speech are riches. 

Not many of us would think that our knowledge and good speech are riches. But the Bible says they are. Count your righteousness, wisdom, knowledge and good speech (ability to communicate understanding) as riches. Riches is not only in terms of money. Your good health is riches. Not many people are enriched in every way but Apostle Paul said the Christians in Corinth were enriched in every way. We too can be.

Beyond the monetary definition of riches the Bible has it own definition. One could be rich in money but not in health, another could be healthy but have no knowledge of spiritual things. But a Christian has the capability to be enriched in every way if he yields himself to God's truths. 
It is God's idea that we shouldn't be deficient in any way but enriched with all kinds of speech, knowledge, understanding, wisdom, health and righteousness. If you haven't been living in these, then you haven't taken advantage of His grace given you.

It is in His grace that you are enriched in every way, recognize grace and take advantage of it.

Do not receive God's grace in vain. Be enriched with all kinds of speech, knowledge, wisdom and understanding and walk in the light of your inheritance in Christ.

CONFESSION

I have been given grace in Christ Jesus, in Him I have been enriched with all kinds of speech, knowledge, wisdom and understanding. I walk in these light and in the light of my inheritance in Christ, being enriched in every way with everything, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
