RESOLVE TO KNOW NOTHING ELSE

1 Corinthians 2:2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. (NIV)

In a world where knowledge is everywhere; where there are lots of things to know about. In a world full of different philosophers and their philosophies Apostle Paul said "I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified."
There were other things to know but he chose rather to know only Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Think about that!

What have you resolved to know? In a world where knowledge is everywhere; where everyone claims to know something and wants to share it, what do you want to know? The world has its own knowledge and wisdom. Would you seek the world's knowledge and wisdom or choose to know Jesus and the things pertaining to His kingdom? It's a choice. And interestingly it is a daily choice. Every day you will have to choose whether to know Christ or the world.

In Philippians 3:10 the same Apostle Paul declared "I want to know Christ —yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,"
What have you declared? What is your resolve? Resolve to know nothing else but Christ and Him crucified. More than anything else desire to know Christ more, love Him more and live Him more. Whatever else you want to know know Christ in it. Know Christ in your business, career, ministry, marriage and anything else.

You may find yourself among people who would bring up topics not directly about Christ but make sure you discuss Christ in that topic. There is no topic of discussion on earth that you cannot find Christ in it, because Christ is the essence of everything that exist. 

CONFESSION

I resolve to know nothing else in this world but Christ, His Kingdom and righteousness. I want to know Christ more, love Him more and live Him more. I want to know Christ in every topic and matter of discussion, becoming more and more like Him in righteousness, power and glory. Amen!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
