WOMAN IS THE GLORY OF MAN

1 Corinthians 11:7 A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man. (NIV)

The Bible declares that man is the image and glory of God but woman is the glory of man. In man you see the glory, beauty, goodness and kindness of God but in woman you see the glory, beauty, goodness and kindness of her husband. 

Man is the object of God's love and the revealer of God's goodness. And a man who loves his wife reveals his kindness through her. It is in a man's wife you see a man's heart; his glory or his shame. A woman is the praise and honour of her husband; not only to receive his honour but also to bring him honour. A man's life is not truly complete without a woman. A woman not only reveal the glory of man but also bring him glory. Though a man can fullfil his God-given assignment without a woman, there are men who cannot fullfil their God-given assignment without a woman.

Both man and woman need each other, it is God's idea. Though either can live without the other they are truly fulfilled together. 
1 Corinthians 11:8-9,11-12 For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.
Nevertheless, in the Lord woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God.

Man is not independent of woman nor is woman independent of man (this is not exclusive to marriage, it is in general terms, yet we can relate it to marriage.) As woman is the glory of man so man is the praise of woman. Neither's life is truly complete without the other. There is a substance a woman brings to a man's life that he cannot get any other way. And there is a substance a man brings into a woman's life that she cannot find elsewhere. This is the Lord's doing and we have to accept it. 

Though getting married is not compulsory yet if you are able do get married. Marriage is honourable and glorious when both parties play their God-given roles. The Bible says "...a woman is the glory of man." Every man needs that glory.

PRAYER

Lord God we pray for couples around the world that your will for marriage be fulfilled in their lives. May both be glory, praise and honour to each other. And we pray for singles, that your Spirit lead them to the right ones for them, and we rebuke every spirit of deception in marriages, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
