THERE IS FREEDOM

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (NIV)

Did you just read that? Have you received the Spirit of the Lord? It is for freedom. Do you live in this freedom? Our theme scripture says "...where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." Live in freedom Brother!

Living in the freedom which Christ brought you into is dependent on, firstly, whether or not you have the Holy Spirit, secondly, on knowledge. Not many people are aware that there is freedom. My brothers and sisters, there is absolute freedom in Christ.
Romans 8:9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.

If you are born again then you have the Spirit of Christ; the Spirit of the Lord, and it is for freedom. The Spirit brings you into the realm of the Spirit where there is absolute freedom. 2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Those who are in the realm of the flesh (senses) are in the realm of bondage. They are perpetually being controlled by what they see, feel, smell and hear. Their lives are subject to their surrounding circumstances. These people can never please God. But the Bible says "You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you...." -- Romans 8:9.

Take advantage of the Spirit of God who lives in you, and live in God's freedom always. Because where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 
So are we free to do whatever, even if it is wrong? Galatians 5:13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
Freedom is for serving one another humbly in love.

CONFESSION

The Lord is the Spirit, the Spirit of the Lord is in me, therefore there is freedom in my spirit, soul, body and mind. God has called me to freedom, and I use the freedom to serve others humbly in love. Amen Hallelujah!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
