NOT BY THE STANDARDS OF THIS WORLD

2 Corinthians 10:2-3 I beg you that when I come I may not have to be as bold as I expect to be toward some people who think that we live by the standards of this world. For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. (NIV)

There are those who have observed us and tried so hard to know why we do what we do and how we do them. They think we live by the standards of this world, they use all worldly parameters to try to ascertain our level and the force behind us to no avail. They have failed in all their attempts to size us, but they are not aware --- "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does."
They don't know and they can never know about us, because we are discerned only through the Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

They think we live by the standards of this world because this is all they see, not realizing that there is another world where we live by different standards. We do not live by the standards, ways, wisdom and system of this world, no! We have been renewed and transformed. Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.

The standards we live by are of the Spirit of God. And as He is unpredictable and unrestricted so are we and His standards that we live by. John 3:8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

Those who think they can stop, restrain or predict you are wasting their time because you are born of the Spirit you are like a wind you cannot be contained, restrained or predicted. So don't waste your time thinking about those who are calculating your next move, they can't see nor understand you. Keep soaring by the Spirit. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

I do not live by the standards of this world. Though I live in this world I do not wage war or carry out my dealings as the world does. My wisdom is from above; it cannot be calculated nor stopped. I am born of God's Spirit I am like the wind that blows wherever it likes and can't be stopped.

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this. As we have a wayward woman so we have a wayward man. One who leaves their partner to go after another. There is no justifiable reason for it. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. (NIV) We should not have offense we cannot forgive. But at times we find ourselves in a situation where forgiveness seems difficult. If we apply our emotions and how hurt we are, it will be difficult to forgive.
