HE IS ALWAYS THE SAME
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (NIV)
Every Christian believes that God is the same yesterday, today and forever. But very few relate with this truth in the face of adversities and uncertainty. You would hear someone say "God where are you?" In other words, have you changed your position? God doesn't change His position when the position of your life change from good to seemingly bad. God is always the same.
His mercy, love and faithfulness towards us do not change.
Malachi 3:6 "I the LORD do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.
We are not destroyed for our errors and wrongs because His mercy towards us doesn't change; it's always the same.
You might think about the promises you have from His word which are yet to manifest in your life, don't give up. He has not changed His mind regarding those promises and His word concerning you.
Numbers 23:19 God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
NO!
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. What He did yesterday, He can today and repeat again tomorrow and always. You yourself have experienced His goodness and love in the past, you have experienced His deliverance from trouble, you have experienced His help, He is still same, He hasn't changed, and He will always be the same. So keep your eyes on Him and keep expecting whatever you asked of Him.
PRAYER
Father I thank You for your unchangeable nature. You are always the same. As you were yesterday, you are today and will be tomorrow and always. My trust and hope remains in you. You are the Lord, you change not. May I continue to enjoy your unchanging love, mercy, goodness, faithfulness and grace, in Jesus' Name. Amen!
