IT TAKES DISCERNMENT

1 Corinthians 2:14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. (NIV)

Don't spend time blaming those who do not understand the message of the Gospel of Christ and our way of life. They cannot understand as long as they are not born again and do not have the Spirit of God. Our theme scripture says the things of God, of the Kingdom, of the Gospel are discerned only through the Spirit. Don't expect them to understand and accept if they don't have the Spirit of God. 

It takes discernment by the Spirit to know the things of God. Only the Spirit helps us know the unseen realities and live in them in this world. For example we who have been trained in the things of God, we literally live in the Kingdom of God here on earth. And the natural man who is without the Spirit of God cannot even comprehend that there is an unseen Kingdom let alone thought of being a part of it. The natural man functions only by his senses, and that's a big limitation because life is far more than senses. 

Romans 8:7-8 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
Those in the realm of the flesh (who live by their natural senses) cannot please God. Their minds do not submit (agree) with God's word, and it cannot because God's word is discerned only through the Spirit. It takes discernment to understand the word of God because the Word is received only by revelation of the Spirit.

To the natural man the Gospel of Jesus and the things of the Spirit are foolishness. That's why we must take praying for those we preach the Gospel seriously. As we pray for them the blindfoldness of darkness is removed from their hearts and minds, and the light of the Gospel of Christ shines in their hearts, revealing in them the glory of God. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Father we acknowledge that it takes your Spirit of discernment to know the things of the Kingdom, so with this understanding we pray for the unbelievers, the natural men, that their hearts and minds be opened to receive and understand the message of the Gospel and the things of the Kingdom and be saved, and brought into the Kingdom of light, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear.
