CREDITED TO YOUR HEAVENLY ACCOUNT

Philippians 4:16-17 for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid more than once when I was in need. Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account. (NIV)

Apostle Paul speaking to the Philippian church acknowlegded the help they sent him more than once while in the course of the Gospel. He also made it clear that it was not so much about the gifts they sent him but that their heavenly account should be credited. 

Every Christian has an account in heaven which is credited every time we give for the work of the Kingdom here on earth. Our giving are recorded in heaven, not just that they are written down but that they are deposited into our heavenly account. What we use our earthly possessions and treasures for is an indication of where our heart is. 
Matthew 6:19-21 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

This later part just tells us why some people are so earthly inclined, they really don't want to leave this world ever, they are not so much about heaven. You would hear them say they want to live until they are two hundred years old. Imagine that! They get uncomfortable when the topic of rapture is brought up. But the Christian who stored up his treasures in heaven get excited when rapture and going to heaven is discussed. Be a Christian who stores up treasures in heaven. 

Storing up treasures in heaven is simple. It is by giving for the work of God here on earth, to further the course of the Gospel of Christ, and every of your giving and act of love is credited to your account in heaven. 

PRAYER

Precious Father I am grateful for all that you have given to me. I gladly give to the work of the Kingdom here on earth, to further the Gospel and expand the Kingdom of God in the hearts of people. Through my continous giving and acts of love my heavenly account is credited continually, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. We have everything to our advantage in Christ, and it is our responsibility to recognize them and rejoice.  Looking at your physical environment and, maybe the circumstances of your life you might have reasons to feel bad and dejected. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear.
