GIVING OPENS WAY

Proverbs 18:16 A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great. (NIV)

Giving is spiritual; it is important you take note of this. Giving is a spiritual act prompted from one's spirit. Not everyone has the heart or ability to give; not everyone can give. The ability to give is not in one's abundance but the state of one's heart. 

Apostle Paul talks about the Macedonia churches who gave more than their ability even in the midst of trial and extreme poverty. 
2 Corinthians 8:2-3 In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own,
Some people have the ability to give but they still can't give, while others give beyond their ability. So giving is not rooted in the abundance that one has but the abundance of joy and love in one's heart. 

Our opening verse Proverbs 18:16 says "A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great."
If there has been a door which has refuse to open to you your giving can open it. Giving opens a way, a door, an opportunity to the giver and bring him into the midst of great people. 

For some of us where we are today is a result of our giving over the past years. Our giving may not be recorded somewhere but its resultant effects are everywhere we only need to look around us intently for them. Keep giving! It's opening ways for you. 

Your giving in the house of God is so important, it does much more than you could ever imagine; it validates your salvation and confession. Yes, your giving for the work of the Kingdom validates your salvation and confession of God's Word. If you said you are saved but can't give your money to save others then your salvation is questionable. If you confess God's Word consistently but withhold giving your resources for God's work your confession is a lie. 

Some people have stood before a closed door for years hoping that it will open some day, it might never open unless they give. If you can't find a way going forward try giving. If a door has been closed against you try giving. Giving opens a way or a door and ushers the giver into the presence of the great.

CONFESSION

My giving is an answer to closed doors. My giving in the Kingdom of God is effective and producing results. Doors are opened to me because I give. I give more to the work of the Kingdom and the propagation of the Gospel of Jesus to all nations. Amen!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
