YOU ARE GOD'S IDEA

James 1:18 And it was of His own [free] will that He gave us birth [as sons] by [His] Word of Truth, so that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures [a sample of what He created to be consecrated to Himself]. (AMP)

From the beginning man was God's idea. He created man and put him upon the earth. Though man was God's idea he had the will and power to remain God's idea or live his own idea. And he chose his own idea by disobeying God's command. 

Over here at the new creation, it is also God's idea. Of His own will He recreated (gave birth) to us. James 1:18 says "And it was of His own [free] will that He gave us birth [as sons] by [His] Word of Truth,..."
You came from God's will; you are His will and idea. Understanding this truth and living in the light of it defines your success, victory and fulfilment in life. It takes away the burden to become what you think you should be that doesn't line up with God's will for you. 

A lot of us struggle for nothing. We create our own ideas and want to live life our way. But life belongs to God, He brought you here, you are not your idea, you can be. You are God's dream and idea; you are what He always wanted to bring forth. Now He has brought you forth. Your responsibility is to discover from His word what He thinks of you and want of you. When you find out, live in it. That is your fulfilment in life. That's all that count. 

Some find it difficult to accept the kind of life God wants for them. They erroneously think it's not good enough, their problem is carnality and ignorance. They think they are going to lose out on life's best. But true life's best are found only in Christ. Never make the mistake of thinking that your idea about life and your yourself is better for you than what the Word says about you. You can't be your own idea. You are God's product. He created you with His own idea for His own purpose. Your true success in life is living with His idea and fulfilling His purpose for your life. 

PRAYER

Dear Father I refuse to struggle with you and your purpose for my life. I acknowledge that I am not my own idea, you brought me here for your purpose. Of your own will you gave birth to me with your Word of truth to be the first and best of your creation. I live in the light of your purpose, idea and plan for me, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd DECEMBER 2023 REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear.
