IN HIM ALL THINGS CONSIST

Colossians 1:16-17 for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him; and he is before all things, and in him all things consist. (NIV)

All things consist in Christ, that is, they are held together in Him. Christ is the common ground for all things, in other words, everything has Christ in common because Christ is in everything, for all things were created by Him and He left His mark on them. Think about all the things we can see in this world let alone the heavens and unseen things. They all consist and are held together in Christ. 

Christ is the essence of everything; everything has the essence of Christ in them. He created the whole world, the heavens and earth, visible and invisible, and all to His glory. 
Some people never relate with Christ as He truly is, and consequently they do not experience Him as He truly is. When He was in the world some thought of Him as just another man of the flesh, even His disciples too until they got the full revelation upon receiving the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 5:16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.

Everyone of us should see Christ as He truly is as revealed in the Word; God in human flesh. Think of what we read about Him in our theme scripture, He created all things, He could only by God. Let's read again. Colossians 1:16-17 for in him were all things created, in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through him, and unto him; and he is before all things, and in him all things consist.

How you see Christ and relate with Him will ultimately affect how you see yourself and relate with yourself and others, because you are in Christ and Christ is in you. Everything consist, comprises and holds together in Christ. Your life consist and holds together in Christ. Your business, marriage, ministry, family etc all holds together and has Christ-essence in them. Their continuous proper functioning is dependent on your knowledge of Christ and its application on them. Yes, you have to apply your knowledge of Christ in your marriage, business, ministry and etc. 

CONFESSION

I acknowledge that all things were created in Christ, things in the heavens and upon the earth, things visible and things invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things have been created through Him, and unto Him; and He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. If you find a person who is not wise in the ways of God you find a person who has no fear of the Lord. Psalms 14:1 The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. We have everything to our advantage in Christ, and it is our responsibility to recognize them and rejoice.  Looking at your physical environment and, maybe the circumstances of your life you might have reasons to feel bad and dejected. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear.
