OVER ALL; THROUGH ALL; IN ALL

Ephesians 4:6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. (NIV)

When the Bible says "God is over all" it means He is in charge over everything; everything is subject to Him. When it says "He is through all" it means He expresses Himself through all or everything expresses Him. When it says "He is in all" it means His essence is in all. When we relate this definition to the new creation it makes it more beautiful.

God is over you as a new creation. He expresses Himself through you. And He lives in you. He is over everyone of us, through everyone of us, and in everyone of us. This is what makes the Christian life a Christian life - God alive in you. The beauty and definition of Christianity is God over you, through you and in you.

God over you means He is Lord over you. Until and unless you submit to His Lordship He cannot live in you, and until He lives in you He cannot live through you. Unless He lives through you people wouldn't know you are of God. And God wants people to know you belong to Him.
You have your part to play in the manifestation of Godliness through you. First, your submission to the Word, then your submission to the Spirit, and finally, your actions according to the truth of the Gospel. 

We all can live as God wants us to live and be all He wants us to be if we yield all to Him to be over us, through us and in us. Instead of trying to win in life try yielding all to Him first, when He takes over you win all the time.

PRAYER

Dear Father, you are the only true God and eternal life. You are God and there is no other. You are the first you are the last. You are the beginning you are the end. I recognize and acknowledge you are Lord over me, you are through me and in me, making me all you need to be and to accomplish all you want me to, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd DECEMBER 2023 REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. But a foolish man withhold good.  DO NOT WITHHOLD GOOD Proverbs 3:27 Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Good is an element of righteousness. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear.
