THE GLORY IS GREATER

2 Corinthians 4:16-17 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. (NIV)

We do not lose heart though we are surrounded by troubling situations. In some circumstances our outward self suffers but in the midst of it our inwardly self is renewed continually. And the glory produced in us is far greater than the sufferings we go through. 

We may not always find it easy. The Lord didn't promise us a journey through life without challenges or oppositions but He did promise us victory over them all. The Bible calls our troubles light and momentary. They do not have the ability to overpower or overwhelm us unless we give in. And they are truly momentary; they came to pass. 

The troubles and sufferings we go through achieve for us glory that surpasses the troubles.
Romans 8:17-18 Now if we are children, then we are heirs —heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

There is the glory that will be revealed in us when Christ comes for the church, but that glory is already being revealed in our lives today. And it is greater than all challenges and troubles put together. Instead of fixing your gaze on the challenges at hand and get overwhelmed fix it rather on the glory that is being revealed in you. The glory may not be apparent to your physical senses, so you will have to look at the unseen. That's where it is.
2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

The glory is eternal. The troubles are light and temporary. Through the scriptures you can see the unseen glory and live in it. 

CONFESSION

The light and momentary troubles I face are achieving for me a great weight of glory. Outwardly I may have challenges and troubles but inwardly I am renewed daily. The glory that is being revealed in and through me cannot be compared to the troubles that surrounds me. And my eyes are fixed on unseen realities. Amen!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. BREAKFAST WITH JESUS A daily devotional Pastor Stanley 23rd DECEMBER 2023 REJOICE IN THE LORD ALWAYS Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. We have everything to our advantage in Christ, and it is our responsibility to recognize them and rejoice.  Looking at your physical environment and, maybe the circumstances of your life you might have reasons to feel bad and dejected. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. A wise man does good. It takes loyalty to wisdom (God's Word) to do good. God's Word teaches us to do good. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice. Many voices may come to your ears but you would choose which to turn your ears to you.  You would hear voice of fear, doubt, failing, uncertainty, faith, assurance, victory, riches but deliberately turn your ears to what you want to hear.
