TRUE RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS

Ephesians 4:24 and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. (NIV)

The new self which is the new creation is created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. The expression "true righteousness and holiness" suggests that there is a false righteousness and holiness. And indeed there is.

What religious people call righteousness is not what God calls righteousness, and what they call holiness is not what God calls holiness. 
Apostle Paul knew about this, and he chose not to have his own righteousness but God's righteousness. 
Philippians 3:9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ —the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith.

True righteousness comes only from God and we receive it only through faith. Only God is righteous and He alone has the standard of what righteousness is. Righteousness is His very nature, and He gives anyone who receives Christ as His Lord.

Another subject is holiness. For some people holiness means sinlessness. They assume that if anyone has never done anything wrong he is holy. But that's falsehood because that's not what the Bible teaches. 
The Bible teaches that any place, thing, people or persons that God dwells is holy. Holiness is about God's presence. If the Holy presence of God come upon anything that thing becomes holy. 

The articles and furnishings, and all the things used in the house of God were called holy and sacred because God's presence was on them and they belonged to Him. Numbers 4:15 "After Aaron and his sons have finished covering the HOLY furnishings and all the HOLY articles, and when the camp is ready to move, only then are the Kohathites to come and do the carrying. But they must not touch the HOLY things or they will die. The Kohathites are to carry those things that are in the tent of meeting.

Anything or anyone God uses and belongs to Him is holy. The articles used in the temple of the God in the old testament were holy not because they never sinned but because God's presence was on them. 

God called the place He manifested His presence to Moses holy ground, only because His presence was there not because sin had never been committed there. Exodus 3:5 "Do not come any closer," God said. "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground."

Today God's presence dwells in us not just on us. We are holy, and if we should be compared with the time past, then we are most holy. True righteousness and holiness is of God. Man's self acclaimed and defined righteousness is falsehood. 
Don't be religious, trying to earn your own righteousness and holiness, only accept God's true righteousness and holiness and live in it. For we are already created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness as we are today. 

CONFESSION

I am found in Christ not having my own righteousness that comes from self-efforts but that which is from God on the basis of faith. I am created in Christ Jesus to be like God in true righteousness and holiness as I am today, Amen Hallelujah!

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM Wisdom will begin to work in and through you and produce results when you fear the Lord. Yes wisdom begin with the fear of the Lord. (NIV) The Apostle Paul writing to the Church in Philippi, said they should rejoice in the Lord always. He didn't say they should rejoice in themselves but in the Lord. That calls for spiritual insight.  It takes spiritual insight to see what we got in the Lord and rejoice. When you are ask to rejoice over something it means that it holds significance and value. No nobody would ask you to rejoice over something that's not to your advantage. WISDOM DO GOOD We already know that wisdom is known for its deeds. Wisdom is no wisdom if it is not practiced. True wisdom is practicable.  One of the marks of wisdom is good deeds. THE WONDERS OF WISDOM chapter 4 episode 1

TURN YOUR EARS TO WISDOM Everyone listens to a voice or voices. Voices comes to one's mind through three main sources. The flesh, satan and God.  The flesh would speak to you based on impulses, emotions and sight. Satan deceitfully speak to people through their flesh, desire and even perversely quoting the Bible. Then God speaks to us through His Word.  None of these voices forces you to listen to or obey it. The flesh cannot force you to listen and obey its voice, satan cannot, and God would not. Listening to any voice that comes to you is a choice.
