MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN


John 7:4 For no one does anything in secret when he wishes to be conspicuous and secure publicity. If You [must] do these things [if You must act like this], show Yourself openly and make Yourself known to the world! (AMP)


One of the responsibilities you must fulfill in order to fulfill God's calling upon your life is introducing yourself when necessary. No one knows you and what you can do like you know. You are in the best position to advertise yourself and what you do. It's not pride, it's not being self-centered, it's your duty to. 


Our theme scripture clearly states that anyone who wishes to be known publicly should not hide but show themselves to the world. The good things which God has deposited in you are for you to bless your world, if you hide no one will be blessed with them. If what you do is good and beneficial to others then make yourself known, introduce yourself and ability. 


In a world where everyone wants to be heard, where everyone wants to tell people who they are and what they can don't expect anyone to introduce you to the world. If you are good at sewing clothes make yourself known, if you are good in teaching make yourself known. And even in the church if you are good at any service you could render in the church make yourself known. 


One time the Jewish leaders sent some delegates to enquire from John the Baptist who he was. He didn't say I am nobody or ask the people. He introduced himself; he made himself known.

John 1:22-23 Finally they said, "Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?" John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, "I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, ’Make straight the way for the Lord.’"


It is important that know who you are and what you can do and be proud and confident about it. The Bible says you are the light of the world and that you should shine (make yourself known) before others so that they can see your light and glorify God.

Matthew 5:14-16 "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.


God will reward you based on what you do for others. So, if you don't make yourself and ability known to others how would your light shine before them? Make yourself known. Those who hide don't thrive. 


PRAYER


Precious Father thank you for the precious life and uncommon gifts you have given me to bless my world. I refuse to hide your calling and gifts upon life. I choose rather to make myself and the gifts and blessings you have given me known, and by them I bless my world, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
