THE LIGHT OF MANKIND


John 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. (NIV)


The life referred in this above verse is eternal life. When Christ walked this earth, in Him was eternal life which He brought to mankind. In John 10:10 He said He came that we might have life to the full. This life is the light (reality) of all mankind. In other words, anyone who receives this life is brought into light (the true state and reality) of things as pertaining to God, man, creation and hereafter. 


Until a man receives the life of God he cannot come into the reality, realm, class or state of spiritual things as they are before God. When a man receives eternal life he is made alive, only then can he see the true state of things. 


In Christ is life and this life is the true light. When He came into the world as light not everyone accepted Him. And today if you have accepted Him it's time to walk in that light. 

John 1:9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.

Jesus is the true light that gives light to everyone. He is the light of mankind. Anyone without Him walks in darkness. He is the only light by which life is truly lived. 


It's not enough for us to walk in this light, we must also bring others into it. Jesus is the only light for mankind. If anyone must live life that is truly life then he needs Jesus. And we are responsible to bring others into His light.

John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."


Only the Lord Jesus guarantees the light for living life. Many people are in the darkness over their health, business, marriage, ministry and other areas. But anyone who follow Jesus will never walk in darkness because Jesus is the light of all mankind. If you know a city, a people, a nation or an individual full of darkness all you need do is preach Jesus to them. He is the only light for mankind.


PRAYER


Thank You Lord for being the light of all mankind. You are the only One who gives light to everyone in the world. Lord through the empowerment of your Spirit I shall bring others into your glorious light that they may walk in your truth. Amen!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this. As we have a wayward woman so we have a wayward man. One who leaves their partner to go after another. There is no justifiable reason for it.
