A LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT

1 Corinthians 15:45 So it is written: "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit. (NIV)

This above verse clearly states that there are two Adams, the first and the last Adam. Adam means mankind or humanity. There was the first mankind, who began here on earth. And there is the second (last) mankind who came down from heaven. 

The Bible says the first man became a living being, that is, he was given life to live. But the second and last man is a life-giving spirit. This simply means He gives life. And this is Jesus and His body the church. The last Adam is not the Jesus before resurrection. It is the Jesus at the resurrection. The new creation, which is also the new, second and last Adam began at the resurrection of Christ and we were in Him, raised together as the new humanity. Ephesians 2:6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,

This new humanity is a life-giver. The church and Jesus is the new humanity, the life-giving spirit.
1 Corinthians 15:47-48 The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven. As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven.

Just like Jesus by virtue of your oneness with Him you are of heaven, and as He is now in heaven so are you. This is your true state, this is the truth. You are a life-giving spirit. Indeed you are! You only need to give expression to it through faith-filled words. 
When you speak in the consciousness of this truth your words carries power and ability. John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

Your words are exactly like those of Jesus, they are of the Spirit of God and they give life. Take advantage of this truth about you. Use your words rightly; deliberately speak faith-filled words and watch them produce tremendous results. 

PRAYER

Lord you have given me your life and nature. Thank You that I am in the order of the new, second and last Adam. For as the heavenly man so you have made me, I am of heaven. Today and always I function as such, as a life-giving spirit my words are spirit and life producing life, blessings and glory, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
