GIVE ATTENTION TO MEDITATION

1 Timothy 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. (KJV)

Apostle Paul wrote to the young Timothy truths of the Gospel and how to go about his ministry. Then he told him to meditate on those things he had written to him. In other he asked him to meditate on the truths of the Gospel so that the results and profits would be evident in his life.  

If you ever find it difficult to manifest the truths of the Gospel in your life you just got the solution --- meditate on the truths. For some people the truths of the Gospel written down in the Bible are just mere story or history to be referenced to. But the truth is that they are for our experience. And meditation plays a crucial role if we must experience the truths. 

Let say for example the truth of divine health. God says His desire and wish is for you to be healthy all the time. 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

God wants you healthy. Meditate on it until its profiting appears. You don't just read the Bible and go away, no! Give attention to meditation. Meditation is not a subconscious act but a conscious and deliberate act. That means you have to plan meditation, give attention to that plan and execute it. 

The first step is to plan the time. From what time to what time would you meditate daily? Set a time and keep to it. The second step is to keep off and cut off anything that would distract you. The third step is to get scriptures or verses to focus on. You don't just meditate, you meditate on the Word. 
Keep the Word on your mind, ruminate, brood and think upon it until you begin to see pictures of what it says. Then keep those pictures in your heart until it becomes real such that it cannot be taken away from you but manifested in your life. 

PRAYER

Thank You Lord for making your Word available and accessible to me. As I study and meditate on the Word through the help of the Spirit may I see and experience the glory and results of the Word. Through meditation I am enabled to work the Word and walk in it, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
