HIS NATURE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

2 Corinthians 5:21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (NIV)

We have become the righteouness of God in Christ Jesus. God made us so and declared that we are His righteousness. Some still struggle with this truth that the Christian is the righteouness of God. They look at all the wrongs they did and concluded (though contrary to what God says) that they are unrighteous. 

Righteousness has nothing to do with right and wrong, it is the nature of God. Contrary to sin which is the nature of the devil; it is natural for him to do wrong. That's his nature; that's him. 
God doesn't do right to be righteous, rather doing right is a natural expression of Himself. Righteousness is who He is. In Christ Jesus He has given us that nature of righteousness.

He says we are His righteousness in Christ Jesus; that is a sovereign declaration of who He made us in Christ. It's a vital information to us, we only need to accept it and live in it.
Romans 10:1-4 Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.
Righteousness is by knowledge and faith. When we believed in Jesus' death and resurrection for us His righteousness was impacted to us. We didn't work for it, we did not even ask for it. 

An important aspect to always remember is that righteousness is a gift from God to the one who is born again. Romans 5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! 

Having been born again you have received God's gift of righteousness; you were born again with it, and it is for you to reign and rule in life through Jesus Christ.

PRAYER

Father I thank you for who you made me in Christ Jesus; your righteousness. I walk as your righteousness, manifesting your glory in the earth, reigning and ruling through Jesus Christ. Amen!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this. As we have a wayward woman so we have a wayward man. One who leaves their partner to go after another. There is no justifiable reason for it.
