IT'S NOT OUR MAKING

Colossians 1:12 giving thanks unto the Father, who made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; (NIV)

This above scriptures clearly states that God has given us an inheritance as a church and that each one of us has a personal share. It also says that God made us meet to be partakers. This means He qualifed us to share in the inheritance. This is not our making; the inheritance and our qualification is not our making.

Some Christians are not conscious that there is an inheritance for them. Some think they have to earn it, but inheritance is not earned. Reward is earned but inheritance is by birth. Inheritance is a right, reward comes by work. And beautifully our theme scriptures says God has qualified us to partake of the inheritance of the saints. Colossians 1:12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. (NKJV).

It's not our making. You lose out when you try to make it your making. Kindly accept what the Lord has gone for you. He qualifed you through Jesus Christ to share in the inheritance of the church. Your responsibility is to act according to the Word and take your place of inheritance. You don't have to argue; you don't have to apply senses and logics, it doesn't have to make sense to the senses. God has qualified you to have an inheritance in the Kingdom of light, this is what you should hold firmly.

Paul praying for the Christians at Ephesus, prayed that the eyes of their hearts may be enlightened to see, know and apprehend their glorious inheritance in the Kingdom.
Ephesians 1:18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,

This should be your personal prayer for yourself. And if you are a Christian leader it should be your prayer for those you lead. Pray that the eyes of their hearts may be enlightened in order that they may know the hope to which God has called them, the riches of His glorious inheritance for them. This is very important.

CONFESSION

I acknowledge that God has qualified me and has given me an inheritance in the Kingdom of light, and it is not my making. I declare that the eyes of my heart are enlightened to see, know and apprehend fully my inheritance in Christ, in Jesus' Name. Amen!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
