MEN AND THEIR GLORY FADES

1 Peter 1:24 For, "All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, (NIV)

Man without the Spirit of God or one who has the Spirit of God but does not listen to Him nor follow His leading withers and his glory fades with time. Indeed this world has records of great men and women who accomplished great things but as they grow they fades away along with their accomplishments. 

How are you living your life? What are you accomplishing? Are you living a life that will fade away or accomplishing things that holds no eternal relevance? Examine yourself. What keeps a man renewed daily is the revelations he receives daily from God's Word and apply in his life. Only the Word and the Spirit of God keeps a man renewed every day. A man without the Spirit is like grass and all his glory like the flowers of the field. The grass withers, the flowers fade. 

Apostle Peter by the Spirit says that the man without the Spirit of God withers and his glory fades but that we are born not of that kind of seed. We are born of the imperishable seed; the living and enduring Word of God. This definitely sets us apart. 
1 Peter 1:23-25 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God. For, "All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord endures forever." And this is the word that was preached to you.

The Word which was preached to you and by which you were born again endures forever. And by extension you endure forever. You don't wither nor does your glory fade like that of the people of the world. And it's important that you understand this and take advantage of it. You are not among those who withers and whose glory fades. Daily, by the Spirit of God your life is enhanced and your glory increased.
This also means you should never envy the sinner who seems to be prospering. The Bible says he withers and his glory falls. 

Keep your eyes fixed on who the Word says you are and live in that glory continually. For you have been born again not of perishable seed but of imperishable through the living and enduring Word of God. Amen!

CONFESSION

I have been born again not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and enduring Word of God. The Word of God endures forever and this is the Word by which I was born again. Hallelujah!

WISDOM KEEPS YOU FROM ADULTERY Nothing destroys a man or woman than sexual immorality, and more so adultery. But if you heed to wisdom it will keep you from this.
