YOU ARE NOT A SPECTATOR

Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, (NIV)

The great cloud of witnesses referred in this above scripture are the saints who have gone to heaven, our Fathers of faith; Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Peter, Paul, John and all the rest. The Bible says we are surrounded by them. They are our spectators, they cheer us on in our walk of faith. They are done with their work here on earth and are now spectators. But there are those on earth who have made themselves spectators.

Life is not for lookers. You don't look, you participate. Get involved! Earth belongs to those on earth. You have a say in the earth. What you do or say has impact in this world. Don't be a spectator; don't watch. Take up a role and play it.

Our theme verse says "...And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us."
There is a race marked out for each and every one of us. But some never run their race instead they made themselves spectators over others. You owe the world your role. Find your role, find your place in the earth and fulfill it. What goes on involves you!

Some would say "whatever goes on in the world doesn't concern me." It does concern you. It affect the whole. Don't be an on-looker. What you do matters. Some concluded "I am done, I have done my best." And then decided not to try anything again but to just watch on. No! You can't watch on, you are not a spectator, get involved.

PRAYER

Thank you Lord for the role you've given me to play in this world. I commit myself to fulfill my part. I make decisions that affect the good course of life and impact the world for the expansion of the Kingdom of God in the earth, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Chapter two INSPIRATION Another thing you will find on your way to the Top is inspiration. Inspiration means an arousal or being stir up from within to take an action or embark on a course. If you don't have it getting to the Top is impossible. You will rely on inspiration to go higher and higher in life. If you are not inspired or stirred up from within to be about anything don't venture into it, it might fail. If you are not inspired to get to the Top in your endeavor, career or profession you may never get there. Whatever you do and wherever you go never leave inspiration behind, if you do you may get stranded on your way. Inspiration pushes you to continue even inspite of challenges.
