HE TAKES SIDE WITH YOU


Romans 8:16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. (NIV)


It's like in a law court, the complainant brings charges against the defendant, then his lawyer comes out to take side with him; to speak for him. 

The Holy Spirit is your lawyer; He takes side with you in the issues of life. He speaks for you. 


Though you are born again negative thoughts and voices won't stop coming to you. And one sure thing it does is to condemn you; to make you feel and see yourself lesser than the Word says you really are. If you did something wrong that voice would sprang up and tell you that God's children doesn't do such, that you are not truly a child of God, making you feel terrible of yourself. But the Bible says "The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children." He takes side with you.


In everything the Holy Spirit takes side with you, He not only testifies that you are a child of God but also that you are blessed by God, heir of God; joint-heir with Christ; prosperous, healthy, rich, righteous and influential. Glory to God!

He takes side with you in your business, jobs, academics, career etc, declaring that you are succeeding, making progress and heaping success upon success. He speaks for you glorious things. Praise God!


CONFESSION


The Holy Spirit testifies with my spirit that I am a child of God full of the fullness of God. That I am an heir of God and a join-heir with Christ, consequently all things are mine. He bears witness that I am a success, a victor and a winner in every place. Glory to God!

(NKJV) God want you to be established early in life. He doesn't want you behind time or destiny. He takes pleasure when you are ahead not behind in life. (NIV) It's only the fight that you fight till the end that you have a chance of winning. When boxers engaged in a competitive fight they don't win if they quit at the first or second round, and they don't lose if they were defeated in the first or second round. If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end. (NIV) An Angel speaking to Zechariah about the birth of John the Baptist and his ministry said many things and one of them was "the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous." His ministry would turn the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous. The wisdom of the righteous is a mindset of the righteous that pre-dictated their thoughts, words and actions.
