YOUR REAL IDENTITY

Galatians 3:27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. (NIV)

Understanding your identity in Christ is vital to experiencing your victory in Christ. It is only in Christ that you are everything God made you. Who you are in Christ is not your making but it is your responsibility to discover, accept and live it. 

Our theme scripture is not a mere sentence but a statement of fact; your present reality been born again. Galatians 3:27 for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

When you received Jesus as your Lord the Holy Spirit baptized you into Christ. The word 'baptized' is from the Greek word 'baptizo', which means to be dipped completely into liquid substance such that you are completely covered by that substance. That is what it is to be baptized (immersed completely) into Christ. You were swallowed in Him such that you have been clothed with everything He is; righteousness, glory, power, unsearchable riches, grace, favour, everything. This is your identity, and that's how God sees you. 

Christ presents you to God exactly as He is; because you have put Him on.
Colossians 1:22 yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and unreproveable before him:
Think about how He presents you to the Father; see how the Word describes you -- holy, without blemish and unreproveable. Imagine seeing yourself the way God sees you what glory you would work in!

The problem is some Christians see themselves from sensory perception but it's wrong. See yourself in Christ; holy, faultless and uncondemnable. You are God's specification in Christ. 

CONFESSION

I am the result of Jesus' redemptive work; His death, burial and resurrection. He has presented me to the Father holy, faultless and free from accusation. I have been baptized; immersed completely into Christ, I have put on Christ as my identity and glory. Hallelujah!
