BORN FOR A TIME LIKE THIS

Philippians 2:15 so that you may become blameless and pure, "children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation." Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky (NIV)

There are people who say that the past ages were better than today. They believe the era of their forefathers were better than today. They complain about the moral decadence in the world today, and all the wickedness of men. But they forget that they were born for a time like this. God knew you were coming. He knew that this is the world you would live in.

Philippians 2:15 says "so that you may become blameless and pure, "children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation." Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky"
God knows that you are living in a warped and crooked generation, and He expects you to be without fault and to shine among them like stars in the sky. You don't really have excuse; you were born for a time like this, and for a generation like this. 

You don't have to complain about the wickedness in your days. The question is, what will you do for this warped, crooked and wicked generation? You might say I want to change them through the word of God. That's good but only after you have been truly changed by the word of God. The word has to train you first in order to face and win your generation for God. Everyone born in this time is born for this time but unless you are trained for this time you would fail in this time, and end up complaining about everyone else but you. 

This is your era, your age, your generation and your time. You were born for this time but let God train you through His word for this time. Give yourself wholly to the word to be instructed, taught and built. 

PRAYER

Thank You Lord that I came at a time like this and for all you have done through me for my generation. Much more I want to do as I yield my all to you to be instructed and trained through your Word to face and win my generation for the Kingdom, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
