THOSE WITH US

2 Kings 6:16 "Don’t be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them." (NIV)

The king of Aram sent army to get Elisha the Man of God because time after time he revealed to the king of Israel the plans and strategies he made to attack the Israelites. When the army got to where Elisha was they surrounded the whole place. His servant woke up early in the morning and found out that they were surrounded by soldiers. In fear he cried out to the Man of God "what shall we do?" 

Let us read, 2 Kings 6:14-17 Then he sent horses and chariots and a strong force there. They went by night and surrounded the city. When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. "Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?" the servant asked. "Don’t be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them." And Elisha prayed, "Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Because we do not see in the spirit with our optical eyes we tend to judge or conclude our situation based on the physical outlook. We are never alone, the hosts of heaven are with us. And those with us are more, greater and stronger than those against us. Don't let what you see weigh you down. There is more to the situation; the unseen.

The things which are against you have no basis or root. They are lying vanities. If you don't see the true state of things you might conclude that all that you see is all there is. You have the advantage over every opposition; the Holy Spirit in you and with you. Recognition makes the ultimate difference. Elisha prayed, "Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see."

The problem is not the numerous enemies that are against you but the ability to see those who are with you. When you see, you would be calm and confident knowing that you got the advantage and victory. Learn to see with the eyes of your heart through the Word. 

CONFESSION

The eyes of my spirit are enlightened to see. I see and recognize those who are with me. The Spirit of God is with me and in me. Greater is He who is in me than all the adversaries and adversities that are against me. Hallelujah!

If you fell once or twice or even more you are not defeated if you are willing to continue the fight to the end.
